Classic Irish Shamrock Pizza

1.Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside to heat.

2.If using, knead a few drops of green food coloring into the pizza dough until evenly tinted. Let rest for 10 minutes.

3.On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a 12-inch round. For a shamrock shape, use a sharp knife to carefully cut three heart shapes joined at the base and a small stem at the bottom. Alternatively, shape into a round and use spinach leaves to create a shamrock pattern on top.

4.Transfer the shaped dough to a parchment-lined pizza peel or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal. Brush the surface lightly with olive oil.

5.Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust. Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

6.Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange baby spinach leaves in a shamrock pattern (three clusters for leaves and a line for the stem), or scatter them evenly if not shaping the dough.

7.Sprinkle grated Parmesan and fresh basil leaves over the pizza.

8.Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.

9.Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh microgreens or extra spinach for a vibrant finish.

10.Slice and serve immediately, enjoying the festive green hues and classic flavors.
