Southern Comfort Chicken Casserole

1.Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2.In a large bowl, combine the shredded or diced cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, frozen peas, frozen carrots, chopped yellow onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

3.Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

4.Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough. Arrange the biscuits on top of the chicken mixture, leaving a small space between each biscuit.

5.Brush the tops of the biscuits with the melted butter.

6.Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

7.Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve hot.
