Chocolate Lava Cake

Preparation Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease four ramekins with butter. Dust with cocoa powder and set aside.

Chocolate Mixture In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

Egg Mixture In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until well combined. Slowly pour in the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.

Batter Preparation Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.

Baking the Cakes Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

Serving Let the cakes rest for 1-2 minutes, then carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream, fresh berries, and a mint leaf for garnish.
