Savory Fenugreek and Fennel Oat Bread

1.In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, and salt. Mix well to combine the dry ingredients.

3.Once the yeast mixture is frothy, add it to the dry ingredients along with olive oil. Stir until a dough begins to form.

4.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

5.Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

6.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

7.Once the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.

8.Cover the loaf with a damp cloth and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

10.Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
