Perfectly Fluffy Focaccia Bread

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

2.Add the wheat flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

3.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4.Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

5.Once risen, punch down the dough to release the air. Transfer it to a greased baking tray and stretch it out to fit the tray.

6.Using your fingers, create dimples all over the surface of the dough. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh rosemary leaves and coarse sea salt.

7.Cover the dough again and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

8.Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).

9.Bake the focaccia in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

10.Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
