Yoylecake Delight from BFDI

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well until all dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

3.Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and well combined.

4.Carefully stir in the boiling water until the batter is thin and well mixed. The batter will be quite liquid, which is normal.

5.Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7.Once baked, remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, transfer the cakes to a wire rack to cool completely.

8.Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of chocolate frosting on top.

9.Place the second cake layer on top of the frosted layer. Frost the top and sides of the entire cake with the remaining chocolate frosting.

10.Decorate the top of the cake with colorful sprinkles to resemble the fun and vibrant look of Yoylecake from BFDI.
