Gag-Worthy Jellybeans

1.In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, water, and light corn syrup. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.

2.Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil. Do not stir once it starts boiling. Use a candy thermometer to monitor the temperature until it reaches 260°F (127°C).

3.Remove the saucepan from the heat and quickly stir in the citric acid, artificial vomit flavoring, and gelatin powder until fully dissolved.

4.Divide the mixture into three separate bowls. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring to the first bowl, green food coloring to the second, and orange food coloring to the third. Stir each bowl until the color is evenly distributed.

5.Lightly dust a jellybean mold or a silicone mat with cornstarch to prevent sticking.

6.Using a small spoon or dropper, carefully fill each mold cavity with the colored mixtures, alternating colors to create a speckled effect.

7.Allow the jellybeans to cool and set at room temperature for at least 2 hours or until they are firm to the touch.

8.Once set, remove the jellybeans from the molds and roll them in a small amount of cornstarch to prevent sticking.

9.Store the jellybeans in an airtight container until ready to serve.
