Crispy Cheese-Stuffed Steak Rolls

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.Lay the thinly sliced steak flat on a clean surface and season both sides with salt and pepper.

3.Place a generous amount of grated cheese at one end of each steak slice, then roll the steak tightly around the cheese, securing it with toothpicks if necessary.

4.In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk the egg with the melted butter until well combined. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

5.Take each steak roll and first coat it in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

6.Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the steak rolls, cooking until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

7.Transfer the browned steak rolls to a baking sheet and place them in the preheated oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.

8.Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then remove toothpicks if used. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
