Indian-inspired Bourbon Milkshake Float

1.In a small bowl, soak the saffron strands in 1 tablespoon of warm milk for 5 minutes to release color and flavor.

2.In a blender, combine the whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, ground cardamom, rose water, and the saffron-infused milk. Blend until smooth and frothy, about 30 seconds.

3.Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender and pulse gently just to combine, maintaining some texture.

4.Pour half of the milkshake mixture into two tall glasses, filling each about three-quarters full.

5.Slowly add 2 tablespoons of bourbon whiskey to each glass, allowing it to swirl into the milkshake.

6.Top each glass with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream to create the float effect.

7.Garnish with chopped pistachios and a few edible rose petals on top of the ice cream.

8.Optionally, add a dollop of whipped cream over the ice cream for extra richness.
