Golden Passion Spice Butter

1.In a small dry skillet over low heat, gently toast the dried turmeric threads for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn them. Remove from heat and grind finely using a mortar and pestle or spice grinder.

2.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and powdered natural emulsifier. Whip together using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

3.Gradually add the strained passion fruit pulp to the whipped butter while continuing to mix on low speed, ensuring the mixture remains smooth and well incorporated.

4.Add the finely ground turmeric threads, freshly ground black pepper, sea salt, and lemon juice to the butter mixture. Mix on medium speed until all ingredients are evenly distributed and the butter has a consistent golden hue.

5.Transfer the butter mixture into a sterilized, airtight container suitable for room temperature storage. Smooth the surface with a spatula and seal tightly.

6.To ensure shelf stability, allow the butter to rest at room temperature for 1 hour, then store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The natural emulsifier and lemon juice help maintain texture and prevent separation.

7.Before use, stir gently if any slight separation occurs. This butter is ideal for spreading on warm bread, finishing grilled meats, or sautéing vegetables, imparting a unique passion fruit and spice flavor.
