Wood Shavings in a Coconut

1.Start by cracking open the coconut and draining the coconut water.

2.Once the coconut water is removed, use a spoon to remove the coconut flesh from the shell. Set aside the coconut shell for later use.

3.In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to create a syrup. Set aside to cool.

4.Take the wood shavings and soak them in the syrup for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.

5.Fill the empty coconut shell with the infused wood shavings, packing them tightly.

6.Cover the filled coconut shell with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.

7.Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.

8.To serve, carefully slice the coconut into wedges and enjoy the unique wood shavings dessert.
