Bubble Tea Recipe with Charcoal for Hookah

1.Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse them under cold water.

2.In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Bring it to a boil and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

3.In a blender, combine the black tea, milk, ice cubes, and 1/4 cup of the brown sugar syrup. Blend until smooth and frothy.

4.To make the charcoal syrup, combine the activated charcoal powder, water, and granulated sugar in a saucepan. Bring it to a simmer and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

5.To assemble the bubble tea, divide the cooked tapioca pearls between two glasses. Pour the black tea mixture over the pearls, filling the glasses about 3/4 full. Add a spoonful of the charcoal syrup to each glass and stir gently to combine.

6.Serve the bubble tea with charcoal for a unique smoky twist. Enjoy!
