Homemade Caramel Sauce with Sweetened Condensed Milk

1.Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

2.Pour the sweetened condensed milk into an oven-safe dish.

3.Cover the dish with aluminum foil, ensuring it's tightly sealed.

4.Place the dish in a larger baking pan and fill it with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the dish.

5.Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours, carefully checking and adding more water if needed to prevent it from drying out.

6.Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool completely before opening the foil.

7.Stir the caramel until smooth and creamy.

8.Use the caramel sauce immediately or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
