Coconut Apple Delight

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2.Peel and core the apples, then slice them thinly.

3.In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with shredded coconut, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.

4.In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, and chopped nuts.

5.Melt the butter in a pan over low heat.

6.Add the flour mixture to the melted butter and stir until it forms a crumbly texture.

7.Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

8.Layer the apple and coconut mixture in the baking dish.

9.Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the top of the apples.

10.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.

11.Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
