Christmas Sorpotel

1.Clean and wash all the pork meat, liver, heart, kidney, and tongue thoroughly.

2.Cut the pork meat into small pieces and keep aside.

3.In a large pot, combine the pork liver, heart, kidney, tongue, and blood with vinegar and water. Boil until the meat is tender, then remove from heat and let it cool.

4.Once cooled, grind the boiled meat mixture into a coarse paste using a food processor or grinder.

5.In a separate pan, heat some oil and add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are translucent.

6.Add dried red chilies, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric powder, and sugar to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until fragrant.

7.Add the ground meat paste to the pan and mix well with the spices. Cook for another 10-15 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.

8.Adjust the seasoning with salt as needed. Let the sorpotel simmer for another 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

9.Serve the Christmas sorpotel hot with steamed rice or bread of your choice. Enjoy the rich and flavorful dish!
