Spicy Turmeric Chicken Sandwich

1.In a bowl, combine the diced chicken, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with the spices.

2.Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken to the skillet.

3.Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

4.While the chicken is cooking, toast the slices of bread until golden brown.

5.Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.

6.Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread if using.

7.Layer the cooked chicken on one slice of bread, followed by lettuce leaves and tomato slices if desired.

8.Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down, to form a sandwich.

9.Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
