Ariana's Sparkling Strawberry Cupcake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.

2.In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

3.In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

5.Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.

6.While the cupcakes are cooling, prepare the pink vanilla buttercream. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and heavy cream, adjusting the consistency as needed. Add a few drops of pink food coloring to achieve the desired shade.

7.Once the cupcakes are cool, frost each cupcake generously with the pink vanilla buttercream using a piping bag or a spatula.

8.To make the strawberry frosting, mix the strawberry puree into a small bowl of the vanilla buttercream until you achieve a deep strawberry color. Use a piping bag to create a heart shape on top of each cupcake with the strawberry frosting.

9.Melt the dark chocolate and heavy cream together in a microwave or double boiler until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly before pouring it onto a flat surface to create a mirror base.

10.Once the chocolate mixture has set slightly but is still pourable, place the frosted cupcakes on the chocolate mirror base, allowing the chocolate to create a beautiful glossy finish around the cupcakes.

11.Garnish each cupcake with a fresh strawberry on top and sprinkle with silver edible glitter for a touch of elegance.
