Gourmet Grilled Ribeye Steak with Herb Butter and Truffle Mashed Potatoes

1.Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F).

2.Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

3.Drizzle olive oil over the steaks and rub it in to ensure even coating.

4.Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.

5.Flip the steaks and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.

6.While the steaks are grilling, prepare the herb butter by mixing the softened unsalted butter with minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, and parsley in a bowl. Set aside.

7.In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the cubed potatoes. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

8.Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add heavy cream, truffle oil, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

9.Once the steaks are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

10.Top each steak with a generous dollop of the herb butter and let it melt over the hot steak.

11.Serve the grilled ribeye steaks alongside a generous scoop of truffle mashed potatoes.
