Taco Night Fiesta: Build-Your-Own Tacos

1.In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and ground turkey until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.

2.Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then add the taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

3.While the meat is cooking, prepare the toppings: chop the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and slice the jalapeño. Set aside in separate bowls for easy access.

4.Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable, or wrap them in foil and heat in the oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.

5.Once the meat is ready, set up a taco bar by placing the tortillas and all the toppings on a large table or counter.

6.Let everyone build their own tacos by adding their choice of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, black beans, corn, jalapeños, and cilantro.

7.Serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
