Cheesy Tuna and Sardine Pasta Bake

1.Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

2.Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

3.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

4.Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

5.Stir in the canned chopped tomatoes, dried oregano, and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to thicken slightly.

6.In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, drained tuna, drained sardines, frozen peas, and the tomato sauce mixture. Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

7.Pour in the milk and half of the grated cheese, stirring until everything is well combined.

8.Transfer the pasta mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Top with the remaining grated cheese.

9.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
