Crispy Corn Flour Potato Fritters

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves.

2.Add the corn flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, baking powder, and salt to the potato mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined and form a thick batter.

3.Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. To test if the oil is hot enough, drop a small amount of batter into the oil; it should sizzle and rise to the surface.

4.Once the oil is hot, take a tablespoon of the batter and carefully drop it into the hot oil. Fry in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

5.Fry the fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

6.Using a slotted spoon, remove the fritters from the oil and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.

7.Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
