Award-Winning Spicy Lemon Shark Steaks with Herb Infusion

1.Pat the shark steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

3.Add the shark steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside on a warm plate.

4.In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.

5.Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter, stirring until melted and bubbly.

6.Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, chili powder, dill, and basil, mixing well to combine and letting the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes.

7.Return the shark steaks to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them to coat well. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.

8.Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
