Classic Cucumber and Butter Tea Sandwiches

4.Arrange the cucumber slices in a single layer over four of the buttered bread slices.

5.Sprinkle the grated carrot over the cucumbers, then season evenly with sea salt, black pepper, and fresh dill.

6.Place the remaining buttered bread slices on top, butter-side down, to close the sandwiches.

7.Use a sharp knife to cut each sandwich into three neat fingers or four small triangles.

8.Serve immediately or cover with a slightly damp paper towel to keep them fresh until serving.
