Creamy Buckwheat with Cheese, Meat, Mushrooms, and Onions

Preparation Rinse the buckwheat under cold water to remove any debris.

2.In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil over high heat. Add the salt and rinsed buckwheat. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the buckwheat is tender and the water has been absorbed.

3.While the buckwheat is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.

4.In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they have released their moisture and are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set aside.

5.Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Season with paprika, black pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.

6.Once the buckwheat is cooked, fluff it with a fork and add the cubed processed cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted and evenly coated the buckwheat.

7.Add the cooked onions, mushrooms, and seasoned beef to the skillet with the cheesy buckwheat. Stir to combine all the ingredients.

8.Serve the creamy buckwheat with cheese, meat, mushrooms, and onions hot as a main dish or as a flavorful side dish.
