Syrian Style Beef and Green Bean Stew

1.In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and brown the beef stew meat until all sides are seared, then remove and set aside.

2.In the same pot, sauté the chopped onions until translucent, then add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

3.Stir in the tomato paste and all the spices (paprika, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice) and cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices, adding a splash of beef broth if needed to deglaze the pan.
