Strawberry Cinnamon Vodka Infusion

1.In a large saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved to create a simple syrup.

2.Add the cinnamon sticks to the simple syrup and simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the syrup with cinnamon flavor.

3.Remove the cinnamon sticks from the syrup and let it cool to room temperature.

4.Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into halves or quarters.

5.In a large glass jar or container, layer the strawberries and the cooled cinnamon-infused syrup.

6.Pour the vodka over the strawberries and syrup mixture.

7.Seal the jar or container tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for at least 3 days to allow the flavors to infuse.

8.After 3 days, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the strawberries and cinnamon sticks.

9.Transfer the infused vodka back into a clean jar or bottle for storage.
