Ultimate Gourmet Burger with Truffle Aioli

1.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2.Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

3.Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them and place a slice of aged cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

4.While the burgers are cooking, prepare the truffle aioli. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, truffle oil, lemon juice, and chopped chives until well combined. Set aside.
