Cheesy Tuna and Sausage Casserole

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced sausages and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

3.Stir in the drained tuna and chickpeas, mixing well to combine with the sausages.

4.Add the tomato puree, cooked rice or pasta, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through, about 3-5 minutes.

5.Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

6.Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the top of the casserole.

7.Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

8.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

9.Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
