Steak and Cheese Skillet Bake

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2.In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

3.Add the thin sliced steak to the skillet, cooking until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

4.Sprinkle the flour over the steak and vegetables, stirring well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to cook off the raw flour taste.

5.Pour in the beef broth, stirring to combine. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

6.Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top of the steak mixture.

7.In a small bowl, melt the butter and drizzle it over the cheese layer.

8.Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

9.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your hearty one-pan dish!
