Queso Ramen Delight

1.In a medium pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil over medium heat.

2.Add the instant ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes, until tender.

3.While the noodles are cooking, in a separate saucepan, combine the queso cheese and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.

4.Once the noodles are cooked, drain any excess broth if desired, leaving a little for flavor, and return the noodles to the pot.

5.Pour the creamy queso mixture over the noodles and stir to combine thoroughly.

6.Add the soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and cayenne pepper to the noodle mixture, stirring well to incorporate all the flavors.

7.If using, add the cooked and shredded chicken to the pot and mix until heated through.

8.Remove from heat and serve the ramen in bowls, garnishing with chopped green onions, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro.
