Decadent Deep-Fried Babka Waffles

1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar until well combined.

2.In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

3.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the melted butter until the batter is smooth and thick.

4.Preheat your deep fryer or a large pot filled with vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

5.While the oil is heating, prepare the babka by cutting it into 1-inch cubes. Set aside.

6.Once the oil is hot, dip each babka cube into the waffle batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

7.Carefully drop the battered babka cubes into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.

8.Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried babka waffles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

9.Repeat the frying process until all the babka cubes are cooked.

10.To serve, drizzle the warm chocolate sauce over the fried babka waffles and dust with powdered sugar.
