Spicy Chicken Bhuna Masala Delight

1.Heat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.

2.Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.

3.Add the finely sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

4.Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chilies, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until aromatic.

5.Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

6.In a bowl, mix the yogurt with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Add this mixture to the chicken and stir well to coat the pieces evenly.

7.Pour in the pureed tomatoes and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

8.Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it cook for another 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes too dry, add a little water as needed.

9.Once the chicken is tender and the oil starts to separate from the masala, stir in the garam masala and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

10.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
