Cheese Stuffed Sausage Rolls with Potato Salad

1.In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

2.In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, milk, melted butter, sugar, salt, and the yeast mixture. Mix well until a dough forms.

3.Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

4.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

5.Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll out each portion into a rectangle.

6.Place a sausage and a slice of cheese on each rectangle of dough. Roll up the dough tightly, enclosing the sausage and cheese.

7.Transfer the rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.

8.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

9.While the rolls are baking, prepare the potato salad. In a large bowl, combine the boiled and diced potatoes, mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped dill pickles, fresh dill, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated.

10.Once the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

11.Serve the cheese stuffed sausage rolls with the refreshing potato salad.
