Sake Salmon

Marinade In a bowl, combine the sake, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to make the marinade.

Marinating the Salmon Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the salmon is well-coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but preferably overnight.

Preheat the Oven Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the Salmon Remove the salmon from the marinade and season with salt and pepper. Discard the remaining marinade.

Bake the Salmon Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness.

Garnish and Serve Garnish the salmon with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve hot with steamed rice or your choice of side dishes.
