Crispy Olive Snacks

Olive Skewers Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Olive Skewers Slice each prosciutto slice in half lengthwise. Wrap each olive with a half slice of prosciutto, securing it with a toothpick. Repeat for all olives.

Olive Skewers Place the olive skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Batter In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and cayenne pepper.

Batter Gradually add the sparkling water to the bowl, whisking until the batter is smooth and has a pancake batter-like consistency.

Batter Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

Batter Dip each olive skewer into the batter, making sure it is fully coated.

Batter Gently place the coated skewers into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Dipping Sauce In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Dipping Sauce Serve the crispy olive snacks with the dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
