Classic Home-Style Meatloaf

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan with oil.

2.In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well incorporated, but avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.

3.Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

4.In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and mustard powder until smooth. This will be your glaze.

5.Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf in the pan.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

7.Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute for a more succulent meatloaf.

8.Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes and green beans.
