TATA Logo Cake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well until combined.

3.Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.

4.Stir in the boiling water until the batter is well combined (the batter will be thin).

5.Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7.Once baked, remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

8.While the cakes are cooling, prepare the buttercream frosting. Divide the frosting into two bowls and color one blue and the other red using food coloring.

9.Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of blue buttercream frosting on top.

10.Place the second cake layer on top and frost the entire cake with a thin layer of blue buttercream to create a crumb coat. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

11.After chilling, apply a thicker layer of blue buttercream frosting to the cake, smoothing it out with a spatula.

12.Roll out the white fondant and cut out the TATA logo shape. You can use a template for accuracy.

13.Place the fondant logo on top of the cake and gently press it down to adhere.

14.Using the red buttercream, pipe around the edges of the fondant logo to create a decorative border.

15.Finally, dust the logo with edible gold dust for a shimmering effect.
