Banana Nutella French Toast Bake

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cocoa powder, sugar, honey, melted butter, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

3.Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

4.Cut the bread into cubes and layer half of the cubes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

5.Spread half of the sliced bananas over the bread cubes, then drizzle half of the Nutella over the bananas.

6.Add the remaining bread cubes on top, followed by the rest of the banana slices and another drizzle of Nutella.

7.Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread and bananas, ensuring all the bread is soaked.

8.Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the egg mixture.

9.Remove the foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

10.Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm, drizzled with additional Nutella or maple syrup if desired.
