Savory Puff Pastry Tuna and Carrot Pockets

4.Cut the puff pastry into squares, approximately 4x4 inches in size.

5.Place a generous tablespoon of the tuna and carrot mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.

6.Fold the pastry over to create a triangle shape, sealing the edges by pressing them together with your fingers or a fork to ensure the filling stays inside.

7.Brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

8.Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow for puffing during baking.
