Golden Caramel Bliss for Popcorn

1.In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Stir gently to combine, ensuring that all the sugar is moistened.

2.Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil without stirring. Allow it to boil until it turns a deep amber color, about 8-10 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

3.Once the caramel reaches the desired color, remove the saucepan from heat immediately.

4.Add the butter to the caramel and stir until fully melted and combined. Be careful as the mixture will bubble up when the butter is added.
