Classic Vanilla Milkshake

1.Place the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, pure vanilla extract, and granulated sugar (if using) into a blender.

2.Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3.Check the consistency; if the milkshake is too thick, add a little more milk and blend again for 10 seconds.

4.Pour the milkshake into a chilled tall glass.

5.Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
