Baked Beef with Pancakes

Marinate the Beef In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef cubes and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Pancake Batter In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt for the pancake batter. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Cook the Pancakes Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the pan. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter to make several pancakes.

Cook the Beef In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef cubes and cook until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, minced garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened.

Make the Beef Filling Return the beef to the skillet and add the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes.

Assemble the Dish To assemble the dish, place a pancake on a plate and spoon some of the beef filling on top. Repeat layers until all the pancakes and filling are used.

Bake the Dish Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes, or until heated through.
