Baked String Bean Casserole

Preparation 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Cooking the String Beans 1. Wash and trim the string beans. 2. Boil the string beans in a pot of salted water for 5-7 minutes, until they are crisp-tender. 3. Drain the string beans and set aside.

Preparing the Casserole 1. In a bowl, mix the eggs, sour cream, grated cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined. 2. Add the cooked string beans to the mixture and stir gently to coat the string beans with the egg mixture.

Baking the Casserole 1. Transfer the string bean mixture to a greased baking dish. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs and melted butter until well combined. 3. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture evenly over the string beans. 4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set. 5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
