Eggless Castella Cake

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, granulated sugar, and baking powder. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the dry ingredients.

2.Add the milk, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and well combined.

3.Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.

4.Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

5.Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6.Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

7.Carefully transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
