Decadent Black Forest Cheesecake

1.Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.

2.In a bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.

3.In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

4.Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream and flour until the batter is smooth and creamy.

5.Pour half of the batter over the crust in the pan. Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the batter. Top with the remaining cheesecake batter and cherry pie filling.

6.Bake in the preheated oven for 70-75 minutes or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.

7.Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

8.Before serving, sprinkle chocolate shavings over the top of the cheesecake. Slice and enjoy the decadent Black Forest Cheesecake!
