Steak and Cheese Quesadillas with a Buttery Twist

1.In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the thin sliced steak, seasoning it with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

2.In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Allow it to melt and coat the pan.

3.Place one flour tortilla in the skillet, and sprinkle half of the grated cheese evenly over the tortilla.

4.Add half of the cooked steak on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the steak. Top with another tortilla.

5.Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a large spatula.

6.Add the remaining tablespoon of butter around the edges of the quesadilla, allowing it to melt and seep underneath. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

7.Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing it into wedges. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make a second quesadilla.
