Creamy Avocado Salsa

1.Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.

2.Mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher until smooth but still slightly chunky.

3.Add the finely diced yellow onion, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic to the bowl with the avocados.

4.Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and add the salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

5.If you prefer a little heat, add the finely diced jalapeño to the salsa and mix thoroughly.

6.Drizzle the olive oil over the salsa and stir to incorporate it evenly.

7.Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning with more salt, lime juice, or freshly ground black pepper as desired.

8.Transfer the creamy avocado salsa to a serving bowl and garnish with a few cilantro leaves on top for presentation.

9.Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or use as a topping for tacos, grilled chicken, or fish.
