Classic Spaghetti Burger with Marinara and Parmesan

1.Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

2.While pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.

3.Brush the inside of each bread bun with the garlic-infused olive oil and a thin layer of butter. Toast buns on a skillet or grill over medium heat until golden brown and slightly crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.

4.In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with 1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly.

5.To assemble each burger, place the bottom half of the toasted bun on a plate. Using a large spoon or fork, pile a generous portion of the sauced spaghetti onto the bun, shaping it slightly to resemble a burger patty.

6.Spoon additional marinara sauce over the spaghetti layer, then sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.

7.Top with fresh basil leaves for a burst of color and flavor.

8.Place the top half of the bun over the layered spaghetti to complete the burger.

9.Serve immediately, optionally with a side of extra marinara sauce for dipping.
