Badam Pisin Delight: A Nutty and Creamy Dessert

1Soak the Badam Pisin in water (2 cups) for about 4-6 hours or overnight until it swells and becomes soft.

2In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water (2 cups) to a boil. Add the soaked Badam Pisin and cook for about 10-15 minutes until it becomes translucent and slightly gelatinous.

3Add sugar (½ cup) to the saucepan and stir until it dissolves completely.

4Stir in the cardamom powder (½ teaspoon) and mix well.

5Add milk (¼ cup) to the mixture and let it simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Remove from heat and add rose water (1 tablespoon) for fragrance.

7In a separate pan, heat ghee and lightly toast the chopped almonds (¼ cup) and pistachios until golden brown. Set aside.

8Serve the Badam Pisin in bowls, garnished with the toasted nuts on top.
