Spicy Chicken Karahi Delight

1.Heat ghee or oil in a large karahi or wok over medium heat.

2.Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.

3.Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

4.Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

5.Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

6.Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat them with the spice mixture.

7.Sprinkle in the coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir to combine all the spices with the chicken.

8.Cover the karahi and let the chicken cook for about 15-20 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

9.Once the chicken is tender, add the slit green chilies and water. Stir well and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

10.Sprinkle garam masala over the chicken and mix gently.

11.Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves.

12.Drizzle lemon juice on top before serving.
